We were inspecting some parts today as part of some customer rebuilds and found a couple of really good examples of why it is important to magnaflux this stuff. I think the photos speak for them selves

Good catch and good photography, is that flourescent di-penetrant or mag particle?

It's mag particle. We just changed out the bath and the indications are much more vivid than when it is dirty, So perfect photo op

I'll post some #6 gears later.
