I guess the southern most hotel is booked> ?

www.seefloridaonline.com I usually stay at the far end at the Casa Marina resort Its the nicest/ best hotel on the island by far. But it the farthest from the races. only about a 5$ cab ride.

Thumbs up

The President of the Tri State Power Boat Assosiation owns Star Travel in Cincinnati and has blocked out a bunch of rooms at Southern Most Hotel. You might give them a call and see if they have any rooms left. 513-469-7827 Good luck and have fun

Pier House, Ocean Key House, Hyatt, The Gallieon, Marriot-- all are on the waterfront. The place to be.

Stayed at the Southern Most House last year adjacent to the southern most point marker. Incredible place with 4 bedrooms all with private baths. Two of the bedrooms are on the second floor, the master bedroom is huge and have a jacuzzi in the bath room. Also has sleeping for 4 other couples in tv room, living room and den. HUGE kitchen and great room. It's expensive, I think $8K for the week but if it were divided between 4 or 5 couples it's not that bad for an $9M house. It's waterfront with private dock and pool. Last year it was a great place to view the races, this year not.

Not sure if the family is still renting the house but could get the contact info for anyone interested.

If you're bringing the wife and or kids, it's the only place to stay.
