I'm new to the forum and joined cause I'm looking for advice. Going to check out a 1988 28' Eliminator (guy says it's a 28 but I only see 27's online, did they make a 28 in 1988?) with newer twin 225 Efi's on it. Owner says it's in mint shape with no rot/soft spots or damage but are there places I should spend extra time looking? I've owned ski boats for 25 years Carlson's Hydrostream's etc and driven a few offshores, but this would be my first Cat. How is the 28 with outboards? And help would be great!

Thanks, glad to hear you like the 26. I really haven't heard anyone say anything bad about Eliminator's, other then some of the low profile stuff and even that is just about feeling "exposed" in them.
