HI, I’d like some more power in my 2002 Baja Outlaw with twin 6.2 MX, nothing dramatic, just 1-200 rpm extra, currently it tops out at 4950 rpm with Mirage 23s. Engines are stock, except for freeing up intake flow with new flame arrestors, and on the silent choice, the OEM mufflers above water have been replaced with hollow tubes, 4”.
I’m a bit confused about the options and great variance in price on exhaust systems, what would you recommend that would give me some power on these otherwise pretty stock engines? Engine lid needs to be able to close, brackets for computer, gear, oil filter etc also. I wrote to CPPerformance and they recommended the Seaward Series. Does anybody have experience with these, on fit and extra rpm/HP?
Thanks

I'd skip the Whipple PCM upgrade and go to their supercharger. This will maximize your performance value. Your Outlaw will be a real sleeper with a 1000 HP.

Don't some of the 6.2's have a horrible FA ? Do a search, some members (one specifically with a Formula) got good gains changing it,,even though there where a few issues finding a replacement. Going by memory, may be wrong, but well worth doing a search.

Maybe I wasn't clear, I'm looking at getting new exhaust, or nothing at all. So no need to propose blowers or props, I appreciate the help, but I'm not there.
(I'll never buy props from BBlade, I did that 5-7 years ago, they were no good, slower than my home-filed standard mercruiser props. Brett suggested I send them back across the Atlantic at my expense and I'd lose a month of our short summer.)
