Considering selling my 2000 Scarab Sport 302
Bought her back in 2008. Dropped a ton on stereo equipment and minor tweaks. She runs strong, is solid and recent marine survey for insurance revealed no structural issues like water intrusion.
The last few years, my attention has diverted in other direction (like buying a Cigarette Gladiator.)
Was planning to do a complete upfit (keeping engines.) She runs great, but needs cosmetic attention and new electronics. I could drop the money into her, but thinking of selling to someone who wants to invest their time and resources. I plan to buy an updated CC.
Two questions:
1. What would you do?
2. Anyone interested in her?
BTW, someone PM'd me when I bought the Gladiator asking if wanted to sell my Scarab. At the time, I said we were keeping her. I deleted the PM. If you are reading this, please reach out again.
