Default Nor-Tech 43V

How does the Nor-Tech 43V compare to the Cig 42X and Outerlimits 41SL? Ride, speed, quality....

I have driven all three and all three are relatively different boats. the 43V is a big, wide people hauler with a nice size cockpit and cabin. With bigger power 800-900hp, 100mph is achievable.

The 42X Cigarette will ride great in all types of water, will give a good safe feeling ride to you and passengers but to get 100mph the 700's will just be enough. One of my all time favorite packages is a 42x with 1100's and #6.s. Down fall is the cockpit isn't huge and Cigarette doesn't put much in the cabin as far as conveniences.

The 41SL will be the smallest and fastest of the bunch. Fun to drive but much more aggressive feeling. It will be built using lighter materials, 5 step hull, full staggered and with 700's it will be a 112-118mph boat.

All great boats, just depends on what you are wanting from a boat.

I have owned 3 of these 43 NorTechs. The latest one was my favorite and went 92.mph w 700 and #6 drives. Big boat, ate up the water...Big cockpit and cabin. Deep seats, felt very safe even in nasty 4-6's coming back from KW one year. To me.. Best of all compromises..

Dude, you did a great job on that boat. It is one of the best of all time in my opinion. No other 43 ever looked as good, let alone, boats from a lot of other manufacturers.

Lady in the street, freak in the bedroom kinda thing...
