Thumbs up

Great looking boat. What upgrades did you do to the engine?

Thanks for the compliments.

I believe horsepower is around 450. It is a pretty much a stock 454 mag w/ an ultradyne 231/239 @ .050 cam, bore notched block, roller rockers, slight porting in the throats, 2.25 intake valves, and lightning headers. It sounds like it's about 600 horsepower, I love it. It runs 64-65 mph on GPS, about 5 mph more than stock. Could use some prop tweaking as I feel there is speed left on the table. The speed bug has got me good, I'd like to move up to a twin engine boat that will run in the 75-80 range.

I am thinking on doing some BIG changes this winter. Would you be interested in a set of my heads and an intake that matches.

I remember seeing that boat somewhere this summer. Lots of 250s around but, not many with those colors. Looks good. Will have to meet next year.

See ya, Doug
