Default Donzi 28 ZXO- “bouncy bow floor”

I’ll do my best to describe the issue.

Purchased a 2006 Donzi 28 ZXO (MCOB) and noticed that when standing on the bow, the floor seems to be bouncy and thin…almost feeling that I could jump up and down and I would fall through the floor.

When I go into the mid-cabin and look under the bow floor, there’s an approx. 6” gap under the floor with no supports. Not sure why the gap is there and more importantly why it’s not supported.

I can certainly place 2x4’s under to support the floor but wondering if anyone else knows anything about this or has had this issue.

Thank you!

Bow rider. Kinda cool. Probably wood floor got wet to many times. If you replace it use some kingboard or some kind of synthetic material with support under it.

Donzi hasn't used wood in their boats in many, many years. I havent noticed the issue in my '06 ZXO; but then again nobody has ever sat in the bow!

Here's a video I took today. Listen what it sounds like when I walk on the bow. I feel like I'm going to fall through if I put my full weight on it.
Also here's a picture taken in the cabin with the head pulled out. You can see there's nothing supporting the floor.

Any ideas are appreciated.

Dam, that doesn't sound right at all. Looks like a good winter project.
