Looking at making my own mooring cover for my 24' Sonic.
Can have one made local for around $650.
Can buy material for $15. per yd in 48" widths
I have an industrial sewing machine and have done a couple of interiors.
Any suggestions??
Thanx Guys!

I just wore out a generic one that I paid $170. for 5 yrs ago. Can't ***** about that!
I am going to do a real one this time though.
One that's custom fit and snaps to the boat just bellow the rub rail.
Called around today and the best prices for good quality custom fit were about $650. (about $27. per foot. used to be $10. when I was selling boats 15 yrs ago )
I think I can buy material and sew it myself for about $300.
Probably 2 days work to save $350. ??
What do you think??
With my luck it will turn into one of those jobs that a week into I'll think, "what F&*^ was I thinkin??".
Oh well, thats me
