Default Best Intake for a EFI Build- BBC 598

You can see I am making many posts for what is the best this or that -to see from the experience of the people on this forum
I am doing a 2 motor build now and trying to get the list of the things I need ,I hate to buy something and then later I find there was a better option!
I am looking for the best choice in intake manifolds for a BBC.
Fuel injected with the injectors in the manifold and I prefer a tunnel ram manifold
Intake good for 1200 hp many say they are only for the LS motor , or for engines of up to 8.1L or smaller hp applications

IF NA n probably the Dart Tunnel Ram. If you want the very best , have Wilson Manifolds work their magic on it....They can also finish it for EFI. The intake is now cast to make the process easier,

Tinkerer - you remember Wette Vette. His 23' cat went 126+ with a 598" pump gas, with Dart Tunnel ram and 2 Doms. I believe he and RMBuilder had Darrin Morgan work some magic on the heads and tunnel ram. Give Bob a call...he'll talk to you about it. Craig (WetteVette) also has lots of info about it on this and other sites.

Edit in: found they both responded on one ofyour threads about this way back. Hope this helps.

So I would think that instead of putting a plate on the top of that manifold with 2 spaces for carbs you could make one space in the middle for the holley efi kit -throttle body with the injectors in the manifold close to the valves.

NO, IMO.....you'd need a pair of 1000-1200 TB's to make that power, your not going to make 1200hp with a single TB and maybe not with 2...n/a

OP is confusing to read.

He is looking for 1200hp NA ? No way. Will need SC for that. And if using intakes for blow thru,he can use a typical single plane intake.

I don't know why I enter threads that have a hard to read/understand opening thread as they turn out to be different than what you think. Yeh, just *****ing, but waste of time when understanding incorrectly.
