Exactly. And by all accounts I've received it's incredibly effective. (I worked with a photographer who used to attach a small gyro to his camera when shooting from a helicopter and it, too, was amazing at keepng his camera still.)

Seakeeper's website also is incredibly cool. I thought being able turn Seakeeper "on" an "off" on the animated home page was pretty slick.

I wonder if a system like this could be incorporated into a V or cat to help maintain a flat attitude

Intrepid did this 5 years ago. It's really an amazing product. Most of the reason that you are so tired after a long day on the boat is because your muscles are constantly working to maintain balance.
