tell me more about the spacers? are they to adapt big tube flange to conventional bbc head?

They are matched to the header gaskets headers are 2 1/8 " . They are angled to move headers a way valve covers 3/4" at top & 3/8" at bottom. Look at front picture of the motor you can see them between heads and headers.
