Default Anybody Rochester, Mn. Area?

Truckin' America 4720 highway 52 north in Rochester, Mn. has a "Lund cab visor"I've been looking for very long and hard.
But they won't ship out (only local pickup) Need a favor from a local Rochester resident to pickup and send it to me. of course,
I'll pay shipping from local Ups and pay for your hassle...........Thanks Scippy

You didn't ask, but are you sure you want one?

I had one from the factory on my 2000 Ford F350 Lariat "LE" (Limited Edition, predecessor to the King Ranch).
While I liked the look of it on the truck, it wasn't my favorite thing to have on there, long term.

1) It caught a LOT of wind, and fluttered constantly over 30mph. The only saving grace is that it was a loud 7.3L truck, and the noise of the truck overcame the buffeting of the cab visor.
2) They actually do hurt gas mileage. (I saw some head to head on this some years back.)
3) They have to come off if you need to replace the windshield.
3) While they do aide in keeping the sun out of the interior, I won't put one on a truck that didn't come with it in a package. I'll just dark tint the top of the windshield.

Now, if you are replacing one, or have one damaged, I get that totally. I'd be looking hard to find one too.

No I didn't ask, but glad you offered your opinion. I simply liked the aesthetics and didn't consider a wind flutter effect.
First hand experience (Like yours) plays heavy in my decision....glad you offered and now sorry I didn't research more
on (in the field) practicality.........I know there has to be air flow thru them, but didn't think they could scream like a wind
reed lol.

Note, mine did NOT have vents in it. All of the AFTERMARKET Lund visors I have seen DO have vents.
But I just don't think it's worth it.

**P.S.: I also had the bug deflector on there, which changes airflow over the whole truck. The bug deflector could have been making the Visor's wind turbulence worse. I never really ran the truck long enough with out the bug deflector to do a comparison.

By the way, love the Mad Max look of your former dually!........the grille, bug deflector and cab visor all added to the sinister look of the dark beast!

I know the cab visor on a truck jumps back memories to the 90's and more so in the "Ole Boys" pick up truck circuit,
but my 2001 dodge ram dually looks (to me) really cool with the heavy brow....would like to hear from others on 'nuisance
wind issues............if any!

I have it on da 6Fiddy. I does make some noise. I was able to drown it out by cutting out the muffler and Big Tunes!

What was real fun was the day I was on the turnpike running 75 and the Sun roof was Sucked out lol
Fortunately the Cig was NOT on the hook. Could have gotten Ugly. There was a recall so I had it replaced for free !!
