So I decided to try a new machine shop in town that I have heard some good things about for my rebuild and was happy to see most of the guys are young and really seam to know a lot. Today I had to drop off some parts and met the owner who is really a nice guy and after talking for awhile he tells me he had a 42 foot Outerlimits with Teague 1350's, used to own one of Jesse James Cats (showed me a pic of it and is blue and said they almost drown at desert storm in it LOL), and currently has a Baja. He told me he is actually doing all the block work and balancing on my engine. He also sold me a virgin Brodix intake to go with my new heads I am using for super cheap. Just nice to know who is working on your stuff and understands your build.

I got the BVH2000 with the 4150 top and will have it port matched to the heads. I got this to match a set of Brodix BB2 CNC I got from a member here on OSO. This setup is replacing 088 iron heads and victor jr 454-R intake. The bottom end is a 10:1 555. Now I am seriously considering getting a new cam to match the better flow plus they have shaft rockers so maybe even a solid roller?

I ran an HVH2001 on my 509's, with a 1050 dominator. I liked that combo WAY more than the Dart and a 950 hp, I was running before. Granted it wasn't an apples to apples comparison. I also switched to KE exhaust and from a -2 to -3 imco, BUT all said and done, I picked up 7-8 MPH with that combo.
