I went to a carpet store and got matching marine carpet. Cut it to fit and had the edges bound. Less than $100.00. Baja wanted $450 for my 252

baja uses a differnt carpet 40oz by r&r textile and I use to buy it whole sale and its more than a 100 bucks and the binding is a lot heavyer than most carpet stores use . you should get a season or 2 before it gets mattie looking, at least thats what I have seen at the marine, one guy had a 50ft cabin cruise and wanted a looped 26oz carpet it was cheap 8 bucks a yd for the back of the boat after a few days of rain it delamed made a mess, I said you need R&R, AND THEY WILL SELL TO YOU AT THE SAME PRICE TO ME. Thats why I don't use them anymore put its the same rug as a lot of speed boat co use except for OL. JUST TRY TO KEEP IT DRY and it could last longer, our new rugs are in another league 80 to 110oz and sell wholesale 1500 and up but don't need binding and can match the 50,000 paint jobs on some of the custom boats.
