I have only 115 Psi in the # 2 cylinder. If I put my hand over the exhaust port it will suck my hand in . My fist guess was a bad valve. I then pressureised the cylender with air to here where the leak was and I didnt here a thing.

What might this be?????????

Is the intake valve opening?

Shane sorry to hear about your Father Hope it is not to serious. Hotboat I would as has been said check the valves to make sure it is opening. Also I assume it was not coming out the crank case?.

well I seem to be sure that I suked a valve. at least I found it befor it was to late. I'll pull the heads off later today and look at the dammage. I just hope everything else is okay.


Bob what happened????? call my cell after 11:00 I'll be helping Chris pull his drive. The hole is fine. Its on the side of the transum. If it was 3" forward it would of went threw the boat.

Low compression, dropped valve and a hole in the transom!

Dave last weekend when everyone was up in Lake George Chris, bob and I had our boats close together out in the lake just sitting there bull ****ing . there wasn't any boats in sight but out of no where I spot a huge wave heading towards us. We all pushed our boats away as far as possible but when the wave came in it was much larger than we thought and Bobs boat was thrown right in to mine. his K plane almost went threw the hull. It was a freak thing and no ones fault. Its nothing that cant be fixed.

How is the house coming along?????. We all get together for dinner every couple of weeks for prime rib at this place off 94. Give me a shout one day if you would like to join us...
