I am curious as to how many engine hours are actully logged on your boats engine(s) each season? I live on a lake and do quite a bit of boating over a longer season than many Northern boaters, and don't actually log that many engine hours. I am wondering if an engine-outdrive... warranty that adressed hours would be superior than months, years???

This season I did about 70 hours. Last season I did 120 or so. Got a later start this year due to building a motor.... oh well. I'd say I average about 100 a season and I boat in Michigan.

Yep, I'd say average is about 80-to-100 hours per season...

WOW , a lotta hrs so far on this post.
I beat you Otis311 , at least for hrs anchored in my favoite cove
Just climbed out from under the boat cover and found 49 hrs and 1022 miles on the gps , so far. Hope to get one more weekend and maybe a lunch run one day this week.
The end of Sept. the damned bottom fell out of the thermometers and we've been lucky to see 60*in Jersey
Up till then we were in the 80s.
