Exclamation Offshore Oil Drilling : new drilling zones approved, maps?

Hi Folks,

I found maps that detail offshore oil drilling zones as of February 2017 via API. API appears to be a members consortium for companies seeking drilling access using someone as an intermediate to the US government. Has anyone seen these maps or similar?

I looks like a great deal of offshore oil drilling was extended from Florida all the way up into North Carolina. Organizations continue to push for oil drilling access in waters up to New England.

Appreciate if you've found more information on where the proposed platforms will be and any current ones. Also any guidance on where to find more information on the coordinates for current and planned sites.

PS - Unfortunately the forum does not allow me to post the maps or links until I have 10 posts. So hopefully a moderator can approve or someone can email me privately for the images to post. Thanks

Thank you,
Nick

I'm hoping you're talking about a story book.

Why? Are you afraid of running into them?

Lol. Did you see the Deepwater Horizon disaster? I guess an oil slick would keep barnacles off the hull better then paint.
