Default Whats for Sale

Have a customer in Michigan whom wants me to find him a 280 or a 290 or a VR1 with engine or without - with drive or without. He pulled out his stuff already from his boat that was damage - Insurance claim.

Anyways in good shape with NO ROT period. Has to be a 2000 year model and up. He does not want anything in the 1990's. Actually really wants 2001 and up. If I stand corrected 1999 thru 2001 years had more 280's made than any other years. Anyone and or leads whats out there ? THANKS

Thanks, I was just in Michigan for a while to. He wants a cabin, no mid cabin boats --- so can you tell me about the cabin in your boat, ( hopefully not mid cabin ) ?. I will call you this week. I actually have about a handful of guys wanting me to find them boats. They want me to do the pre purchase inspection on top of. Man its not easy finding their specific choices and lists of criteria.

OSO PM would be best and I will give you my cell, it would be good to forward me pics as well. THANKS

To be honest, I’m not sure what I’m going for. I love the high hp singles. But would like a larger 35-38 twin. But really don’t want a side by side twin. If I were to do it I’d want a staggered set up. I’m super picky about which ones and I’ve only found 1 or 2 of them that had mirror image exhaust out the transom. I CANNOT stand when they’re aren’t symmetrical. But on the other hand have looked into possible advantage and or fountain. By all mean I love my vr1 and I’ll probabaly end up keeping it if I can’t get a decent $ for it due to having some much invested and it’s a vr1 come on! Lol otherwise I have room in my shop up to 52’ boat so as long as the money is there (which it isn’t) I’m good to go lol

Be aware that from I have been told the 39 ft Velocity staggered are not as fast as the side by side.

I remember seeing pics of your VR1 right before you bought it... she's a beauty and should show well when you post it for sale.

Good luck with whatever you decide on Jason... tuff decision for sure!
