On my 2007 230ZT the electric Lenco hatch lift motors have become noisy and very slow in opening or closing. Battery is good, Just wondering if there could be some bad electronics with the rocker switch or that the motors have just given out due to age.

Too much voltage drop when going thru a switch for power. Use a relay for faster operation. Once you decide if the actuator is good or not.

As others said, likely voltage drop between switch & ram..
I wired this in and mine works GREAT ! and it's only $8.95
