Default Thoughts on push lock fittings?

I did a search without much luck, so what’s the OSO brain trust’s opinions on push lock fittings for oil lines? Im running -12 lines for the oil cooler etc, and put a hose clamp on them just as a nervous nelly, but have read that can actually compromise the connection. I’m running 75# cold but it’s more of the heat that concerns me as having hose pop off on a wide open run would really suck. Safe to run without clamps, or keep them on there?

I used the push lock on my turbo car (lots-o-heat) and never had issue. Don't skimp on the hose... I ran Aeroquip stuff and the only way to get it back apart was to cut it off.

Articfriends (think I spelled that right, probably not) if I remember correctly (suffer from CRS) is not a fan of push lock. I'm OK so long as they are low pressure, wouldn't use on oil lines. I use these

I used the push lock stuff on my 598 but I used crimp rings on the oil lines.

Awesome. I was hoping to hear some real world experience. I used the stuff from CP rather than the Summit stuff. I read about a few failures on the Yellow Bullet forums but they were talking about tranny lines which I read could be anywhere from 130 to 230 on up. That black nylon stuff does look killer though, but not this time around. I just pulled the engine and taking care of the low hanging fruit.

Once that stuff is on there it actually tightens on the fitting harder if you try to pull it off. Kinda reminds me of a girlfriend.
