The Callan Marine T-48 Cat has broken the 200 mph barrier. We believe this is the first cat to do this but would like to know if anyone knows of another.

I've heard a saying before - if you want to go fast get a cat.

I'll add to that - if you want to go really fast get turbines.

I'm looking forward to seeing that boat again at the LOTO shootout. It should be very interesting to see what Budweiser comes up with to defend the title.

I hope Callan can win next year and that Budweiser plays fair!!!

Last year the boat had been in the water four times before we went to LOTO. The first standing start we had ever done was the Saturday of the event. Given a year of practice and fine tuning it should be very interesting.

Jetset claims to have seen 200 a few times. I should try to get him to make the trip to LOTO for next years shoot out. When is it in 2003?
