Default Big Block 454 Distributor Question

Just looking for advise. I have a 1996 Scarab 22 with same 454HO roller Gen 6 engine. I upgraded the cam to a GM marine 622 (483) lift, marine Edelbrock intake and now I want a little better distributor than stock. Any suggestions as I won't be turning over 5000 rpm's. I see several manufacturers out there and I'm leaning toward the D.U.I marine for 319.00. Thank you!!

I had the same boat and motor combo. I ended up going with an MSD pro billet distributor and 6L 2M ignition. I believe they sell it as a package deal.....

What's wrong with your Thunder Bolt? You are not going to gain anything changing it. The TB is very reliable.
