This guy (presumed) gives zero introduction, no boat ownership info, no reciprocal offerings, no offer of payment, nothing. The post does not read very nicely, why should members feel obliged to make kind gestures and offers?

It is possible he owns a nice boat somewhere around the country and would like to invite OSO members to come boating. He may want to offer money for gas, launching, cleaning, lunch etc and wants to meet other like minded people. If that's the case, he should make the effort to say so and he would probably get a better response.

Maybe he wants someone to refer him to a boat charter company? I can't be sure from the post.

Stevo, this is a pretty good group on here and if you can elaborate a bit on what you want to do, you might get a better response but as it stands, don't expect too much.

I had contact with an OSO member who was coming my way and he asked me a couple of questions about Thailand..........
He and his mate turned up, we had a great night out on the town and spent the next day boating out to a nearby island for lunch. We all enjoyed the brief time together. I know I've got an invite to join him on his boat if I ever come to his part of the world. Make the intro and get to know someone first then the invite will ensue.

Wow that is a weak offer, I'd expect a ride in ATLEAST a 57 MTI with mixed drinks rather than just peasant beer!
