Why did Baja never offered the 302 with the single option???

Simple, a 302 single would be a turd, the 29 OL single isn't much better, I think some 302's are set up with AC, the simple answer is their to heavy

I think the only single 29 OL's were a special order from Big Thunder around 2000.
They are turds. 454/502 boats were 50-52mph and an HP500 couldn't break 60.

unless you go 10 minutes away from marina and anchor the whole day!
might be good for some, but not for most!

302 w/ twin 454 or 502MAGs is a real sleeper. This setup embarrasses many more aggressive looking go fast boats. One of Baja’s best packages in my opinion.

This is the kind of info Im looking for now that I am researching what boat to buy next winter.

My old 2000 29 outlaw twin 454mag mpi's has at least 1200 hours on the motors now. never been touched. Great package.
right at 70 mph if i remember correct.

a bud of mine had a 302 with 496 ho's, he could pull away from me in a long run in my 33 OL with 502 mag's
