Question What pistons do you have or want?

Hi with all the talk of boring and stroking I thought I would post a poll to find out what pistons poeple have used and would use when building a big HP marine motor. Charlie

J&E very good! Have ran ROSS with no trouble also. Both were right on specs and quality A+.

Have forged Speed Pro in the boat motors, JE in the SBC for the Corvette. Also think SRP make good parts, just don't need another set of pistons at the momemt (and hope I don'e need any anytime soon)

I have and run JE's but would not hesitate to run Ross's.

Aren't SRP's made by the same company as JE's?

Hey Winston Cup cars run upwards of 10,000 rpm with JE's. I thinks they can handle 5500 in my boat

JE makes a good piston but there factory service dept SUCKS!!!!

I bought a set thru a shop factory direct. When I got them I opened the box ...took 1 out saw they were wrong wrapped it back up and sent them back to JE for the correct ones. 2 weeks go by and no reply...3 weeks no reply..I call..they say they need to be inspected for credit. another week no reply I call again and talk to some dip**** who tells me I will be charged $250 for some of the pistons that had nicks on them. I told him I never even touched them...NO MATTER. I told him kiss my ass and send me my refund minus the 250. I bought a nother set from Jegs.
Another company called CP pistons has started up by former JE employees. They will be getting my next order this spring. They will make me a custom set to my specs for the same price as off the shelf.
I hope them *******s at JE read this. You lost a customer dudes

I'ved used Ross...great pistons and never had a problem
