Default bimini top on a 29 outlaw

Anybody have a 29 outlaw with a bimini top? Just wondering if you have pics of it mounted and how it's mounted? If it was custom made or not? Where do you store it?

When I bought my last 29 out of Lake Mead it had one on it, custom made, had straps to in front of the windscreen, to bout 1/2 way back of the sunpad, mounting brackets bout where the bolster seats are if I remember correctly. Always laid back and on the sunpad. I took it off, was always in the way and filled in the holes sold it with the boat. I bought one of those pop up looking tents that attach to the cleats in it's place. Easy up and down, stored away in the cabin out of the way....just can't drive with it. Good luck in your search, not many of anyone I know over the years has had one but it isn't any different than regular run-a-bouts with them.

Actually just did a random search on Google and typed in Baja 29 Outlaw Bimini Top and there are a few. One is oddly enough my X father-in-law's 29 (purple/orange) but that was done well after he sold it. Here is a link, since I am not a paying member right now I couldn't post a pic so not sure if the link will work but here ya go anyway.

I had an Anchor Shade on my 29OL too Works great when rafting up or hanging out in a cove.
And the good thing- WHEN u upgrade to a 38T\S like I did you can just put it in new Boat

Yea... I was thinking about the anchor shade, but I was worried that the pole in the middle might be a PIA trying to move around it in the cockpit.

I got mine for my Scarab from Overtons. You give them the size that you need and it will be custom made. Their website gives you plenty of options and info. Get the stainless bows and hardware. Little more $$$ but you won't regret it.

I had mine made through budge covers (https://www.budgecovers.com/biminitop.aspx). Pretty good price and easy to install. I signed up for their email and got 35% off (cancelled after I used the code).
