Default 2006 Chevy Diesel wiring

Does anyone know the wire colors or lay out for the actuator on the front axle differential.
my 4 wheel drive went out.
When I tried to engage it there was some engagement noise and then the service light came on.
I tested the one on the transfer case and it worked.
I want to test the front one before I buy a new one.
There are 5 wires.

Did you scan it for the code(s)?? That may tell you which one is bad.

I don't have a scanner. But knowing what wires to apply 12 volts to will tell me if it works. It won't tell me if one of the sensors inside are bad though.
I am just looking for the wire colors that are the inputs.
Thanks.

Not sure if the same but you can take a look...but i happen to have a 2001 manual sitting on my desk here at work...list the following:

A - blk/wht, (4WD Engaged Signal) 12 volts when 4WD engaged, open (0 volts) when disengaged.

B - lt blu, 4WD Relay Coil Supply, 12 volts when the Transfer Case Control Module (TCCM) asks for 4WD.

C - brn, 12 volts when ignition key in run/start.

D - not used

E - blk, Ground

I'd unscrew it and then plug it in to see if it extends, don't see that putting power to it will tell you much. front drive shaft should be locked to transfer case when 4wd selector is engaged
