Default Is anyone still Racing Formulas?

They have such a great heritage, but I feel like they have given up on the performance boat segment. They haven't updated their hulls since the late 90's.

Would a 353 Poker Run Edition be a candidate for a class 4 rig? I thought I have seen an early 2000's 292 with a single floating around somewhere before.

I think you could find a lot better hull to go race with. And yes they did make a race layup 292 single engine. No sure I have seen any of them actually race though. I had a 312 with gobs of horsepower and it was not a fast boat. Hull is built like a tank and heavy compared to similar size boats.

Can it be done with enough of your money? Absolutely!

353 would be a Class 4 boat. RnSRacing ran a 382 competitively in Class 4 for a long time.
