Default help i need to rent a truck to tow a 28 skater

HELP ......i hope someone can tell me where to rent a truck i can use to tow with, the regular rentals say no towing or it voids the insurance . I am in miami

You can tow with a U Haul-no problem. But they only have a 2" ball.

Yup, U Haul will let you tow. A buddy of mine towed his Donzi 26ZX to Maine from Ft Lauderdale last spring with one.

Where do you need to tow it to? maybe someone traveling that way could help you with that instead.

I rented a U-haul pickup a while back and it had a 2" receiver hitch on it. It also had a V-6 engine, so that's some thing else to consider.

thanks for your ideas, the u haul is ok, b ut i was looking for a pick up as we are taking the boat to the worlds in n.o. and the box truck is not that comfortable for a long trip . cord was the v6 enuff power ? what did you pull?

Ever condidered a short term lease?? Maybe for a month or something??? Some leasing companies will do this.

OK, call Call Wayne Akers rentals, they are about 30 minutes north of you off 10ave North in Lake Worth.

Their address is actually: 1900 10th ave North, 561-582-4449

You can rent a F-250 Diesel 4X4 for about $99/day or a F-350 Crew Cab Dually for about $110/day Either will pull 11,000 lbs +

No, I don't work for them, I tried to find a rental dually for a long time to take my Powerplay to the keys for a weekend. All their vehicles are late model.
