Default Prop problems

Long story short... Switched over from Bravo 3s to bravo 1s. 26p props worked great... But .the starboard side counter rotates and is only turning 4200 rpms while the port side is turning 4800. Took props to a prop shop they matched the props together and there was no change in rpms. Still the same as I had before 4200stb and 4800 port. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Only 2 real possibilities if props are the same.

1. Engine is down on power
2. The lower rpm side has a 1.36 ratio

Ratio's for regular Bravos are controlled by the upper gear set. Lower gears are the same.
1.36 are 29/27 teeth and 1.50 are 32/27 teeth.

Ok.. Here's the thing though.. Swap the props over, run the boat where reverse is forward and forward is reverse.. The boat runs just the opposite. 4800 on the starboard and 4200 on the port.

Gear ratios are the same. That was the first thing I checked.

Find a new prop shop. No way they are matched.
Cut off diffuser ring is only worth 50-100rpms more

If you would like, we can MRI the propellers for you and give a computer read out as to what your propellers truly are.
Chances are we'll be able to tell you the differences without even using the computer but we do have MRI capacity if needed.
