Hello.
I have here an 3,3 Lysholmcharger from an 662 SCi . Only 5 hours run,but makes light whine, and so i take in parts to solve the problem.Only problem i found is a bit axial play in the charger screws back and forward. When i pull the gears up they come out for maybe 0,6-0,7mm! I think that the main bearings have to much play and need to be replace.A good bearing never has this play. All other parts look like new.
Now i must take off the 2 gears from the screws.Anyone know if the nuts must be take off left or right turn??
Maybe someone have explosion pics from this charger? i found nothing at moment and hope someone can help!

I have delete some probs! Now last problem is to get off the small gear! Looks they made it hot and put on the shaft! I get it not away! Try to build something tomorow to get it away!
Looks real that the big front bearings have real much play.the chargersrews are real like new with no wear!

you are in for a learning experience! Those blowers have deep grove ball bearings , they will have axial play . It helps with expansion of the case. It looks very nice to me . I would have left it alone.

I am some steps forward, better say nearly ready!! this Blowers are so simple build!
i have take only in parts as i get it with running sounds that not normal.
The srews have to much axial play to front because the bearings are run out!I can pull out the gears with srew nearly 0,5mm and that it not good! i get today new bearings and mount them direct.
When run out the bearings full, the crews get contact and thats the end for the blower!!!!
The screw can before go 0.5mm axial and with new bearings nearly 0!!!
