The 24 is a 24x7, lots of information on those hulls. They actually ride well in the rough because theyre narrow with 24* deadride. But at anchor , they bob and weave more.
If youre getting it as a project, take a long straight edge and check the hull bottom for hook/rocker. Look at the chimes up by the bow, some are good, and some are pretty wavy.
Regarding the 33- I got nothin.

A 24 with a 250 on a 18-20 bracket is good for high 50s. Theyre not pad bottom so theyre not going to be speed demons, but they run well in chop.

This 24ft jaws I’m looking at needs pretty much everything from the gas tank up. It’s just the hull, they guy tells me that the floor in the walking area is removed and needs to be redone also the top of the boat needs to be refiberglassed because these boats were made with them thin and its cracking in some spots. Needless to say it needs a lot of fiberglass work to get it shape before even starting rig. I’m getting it cheap but don’t know much about fiberglass so don’t know if it’s a project worth getting into time and money wise

The quickest way to turn millions of dollars into thousands is to become a boat builder. The quickest way to turn thousands of dollars into hundreds is to rebuild a boat.
You can buy a running 24x7 for $20k or less.
Used 250XS- $8k
Fuel tank- $1k
O/B bracket- $2k
Full Interior- $6k
Helm/gauges/wheel/steering- $4k
That’s $21k before glass work, paint, rigging, cost of hull, trailer, and incidentals. And all for a boat that will only fetch around $20k if you want to get rid of it.
