I saw this on one of the Discovery channels the other day. Looks like alot of fun.

Those things are totally cool!

They fly those things down here by the hundreds! As a matter of fact, I was talking to a guy who landed and anchored next to us last weekend on an island we frequent.

Here's one coming in over Passage Key. They fly over there constantly. Nick knows why.

puder, I did a search on "akronoplan" and Yahoo came back with "no results were found for your search". You pullin our legs???

I saw one at LOTO the guy landed in the party cove on a friday, then I saw him on sat in front of the Salty Dog, he came in for a landing and stuffed it, he flipped forward, and the wings sank. All you could see was and upside down raft.

What a trip, the guy was OK. He was demoing one to try and sell them.
