Default Scarab 38KV Miami Vice

The Miami Vice edition scarab 38KV is one of my favorite boats. Beautiful! I’m curious though what’s top speed on these boats. I think they were powered with 565’s. Also how did they handle? Rough water etc...

i have had four of them in my shop and all had 420's(454's), those put the boat in the mid 60's and rough water handeling is excellent. Its a legendary Larry Smith hull with all the right stuff for big water, 24 degree deadrise, 38 footer with 8 foot beam, traditiional non vented V no pad no steps no notch . . . no nonsense

Wellcraft used the exact same hull for the KV, 377, Excel and Thunder
