Default Buying a 40 Outlaw

I
I'm looking to buy this boat. 2001 40 Outlaw, from Port Clinton OH area. Wondering if anyone recognizes it, or knows any history about the boat. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

I appreciate the comment. Hopefully someone will recognize this exact boat and will have something good to tell about it.

Contact Jeff @ Hawkey Boat sales, https://www.google.com/search?q=hawk...hrome&ie=UTF-8

By looking at the boat, it lappears to have their usual personal touches, ie: Painted vents and redone back rests.

Pretty easy, take the help or not...

For years they were the largest Baja Dealer in the Midwest, and sold numerous 40's. If I remember correctly that was "AJ's" original 40? But I could be mistaken. (That would be why you would want to call them) The picture shows updates to the vents and head rests that were a common upgrade that they offered through the dealership on boats after they did his.

Many of their customers were loyal and still stay in touch. Since there was never a ton of 40's built in the first place, I would think finding the beginning and then following the customer base may get you the answers you need.

I sold my 40 in 2011 and know who sold it to and who they sold it to...

Seems like someone looking for help, should really consider the help... The easiest way between 2 points is a straight line...
