Best Prop Choice
Donzi 35zr with 496's, what's the best prop choice? Seems everyone is running the Bravo 1 28 pitch.

Stick with what works. The 28P does it all for the 35zr in a reasonable manner. If you start toying with numbers it all gets blurry. When I picked up my 35 2 years ago I spent weeks searching the old postings and the consistency was on 35/496's boats - just go with the 28P wheels.
You will only see 80-81-82 (tailwind, completely unloaded and vapors in the fuel tank) Upper Chesapeake Bay water....salt may get you more but then your on the ocean or lower bay with more wave action.
Did you get a carpet yet? I am thinking about Marinemat for my interior.

The problem is the Bravo 1 prop doesn't last. Brian D Donzi 35zr only gets 150hrs out of his B1 props before the blades crack. Thinking maybe the Bblades 4 Speed props?? I did get carpet thru Donzi Direct.

These boats need trim....its sacrificial to speed - you make a choice.
I have not found a single post from a 35z/496 owner that said "OMG I switched from the 28P factory B1 wheel to XYZ props and its improved SPEED, HANDLING and PROP LIFE running identical conditions."
If you think its worth it try the BBlades and let me know. If I can get any improvement in those 3 areas I would consider it a win.
