Anyone looking for a really nice classic to buy?
Hi guys,
I just listed my black Limited Edition Minx in the classified section of OSO for sale - 1987 Donzi Minx. It's #15 of 25.
It's a freshwater boat with trailer located in Napa, CA. I have been away from the forums for awhile, but I listed it on the original Donzi Classic Registry (Scott V ran it) close to 20 years ago. Any of you guys from that site or anyone go to the Donzi Florida Porofino Hotel show way back then? It was a great time. Donzi really knew how to throw a party!
My Minx still looks as good as it did 20 years ago but I sure don't. I can't fit inside the engine compartment any more and swimming off of it is difficult with bad knees. I hate to admit I went the pontoon boat route and now it seems to take forever to get anywhere! Time for younger people to enjoy the Donzi and hopefully keep it in the same condition I have. Thanks for reading!

Hi Rooster,
We were on Lake Berryessa for many years, often hanging out under the bridge party area. I used to get across that huge lake in no time. Now with only 60 hp pushing a living room across the water it takes forever. We used to take the Minx on Shasta, Oroville, Folsom, and Sacramento river. I sure will miss rumbling up to the dock with that boat. Life will be boring but I admit the pontoon boat is very relaxing. Forgive me OSO guys! I will hold my head down in shame as you blow by me! (LOL).

With a properly set up pontoon boat (beer, eye candy) how long it takes to get there is irrelevant . There’s always a fancy powerboater willing to trade ride alongside for a beer and shade if the need for speed hits you, lol.
We hope to make Berryessa this summer. See ya out there!

Sounds good Rooster. Hope to see you on Berryessa. It's a great clean water lake and nice when there's no grass fires going. Look for the Suntracker with dogs aboard. I got the beer covered but the eye candy part I wish!
