Default What happened to all of the models Fountain used to build ?

I am familiar with what happened to the company going bankrupt and being sold to new owners. It just puzzles me a little to see them currently only building five models when Fountain used to build a lot of sport and fishing boats in varying sizes. One would assume the molds for these boats went with the sale or did they just get tossed ? I love the Fountain 33 SFC and am wondering if it and other similar fishing boats will ever come back.

I'm pretty sure the molds would be intact. I'd suggest the only way to bring them back into production would be to phone the company and try ordering a new boat. Something people haven't been doing for a very loooong time

Ok. One down, about a dozen to go!

My post was a little tongue in cheek but seriously, Fountain are trying to re-start production after an absence by pushing their 'most likely to sell' models. I'm sure there's a number of unused molds that need a refresh but unless a buyer steps up with some cash, it wouldn't make business sense to expand production beyond current demand.
