ANYBODY KNOW WHAT THESE ARE? transmissions stamped HYDRO SMOOTH model 8001...they have tail stock for ssm's good size oil pan im puzzeled what h.p. can be put to them .they look similar TO 72C.BUT not quite. also they are 1.1 gear ratio

You might have better luck getting some information by posting a pic and moving to the general boating or technical threads?
