I bought the boat this spring. Seller didnt know much or have buildsheets. Boat was cheap enough I dont care. Im just trying to find out what grind this is since I found the lobe starting to fail during a lash check.

BBC cast solid roller from likely the mid 90's

I googled the "Z2956" and did not get any hits (pertaining to BBC cams)

Im hoping its off the shelf so I can just replace the lifters on both engines and slap the same "new" cam back in with the same pushrods.

I'm guessing it's a custom with the intake advanced 4 degrees and the exhaust advanced 2. Maybe a Bullet Cam, could send it to them and have them match it.

Ended up have the cam profiled at Howards cams since they are local.......purchased similar cams........new cams, crower HIPPO lifters and new valve springs...........hopefully good to go for awhile now....have about 10 hrs on the repairs and all seem good.
