Default 500 EFI breather tubes

Have two breathers, one on each valve cover. Also have the standard pcv valve. Should I run tubes to the air cleaner or use breather plugs or... ??? This question arises, as the motors had vortech superchargers on them, which I took off, and most of the 500 EFI's I've seen just run the PCV valve and no breathers on the valve covers.

Part of me is thinking the breather plugs would/may blow residual oily moisture into the bilge and/or unnecessary fumes into the bilge... am I thinking right??

Thanks

Stock 500 efi’s have the PCV in the middle of the intake manifold, the fittings and hoses on the valve covers are for allowing air to be drawn in.
