Default beach haven to atlantic city : anything to be aware of?

I've been to Beach Haven from north, and besides little egg inlet I noticed on last minute I had to run offshore like a mile to avoid the sand, once passed that inlet, anything else I should be aware of to get to atlantic city marinas?

and there is like 3-4 marinas in that area, is there one better than others? or one to avoid? or all good places?

Thanks!

Which inlet are you going out of leaving Beach Haven to head south? Shoaling near Little Egg inlet is an issue. You can also run inside following Intercoastal down to AC as an option. Using that route, from Great Bay heading south, follow channel closely,as shoaling is an issue there as well.

If you are asking about which marina to stay at in AC, Farley at the Golden Nugget would likely be the best. Good facility with a decent deck bar adjacent, as well as you can walk right into the casino for food/drinks/entertainment.

I used to run from the GWB Bridge to Cape May, I would run 10-12 miles out off shore in good water the whole way. all along the shore there can be sand moving around daily within the first few miles. Check charts online.
