I have a 98 Baja Outlaw 36 with 676 cubic inch blower engines and #6 drives with 4 blade 18x29 propellers. I have a difficult time getting the props to grab water, the best way for me is to be between 2 waves to make them grab water. Once they hook they go very well but in rough water it can be very hard getting moving. The drives have spacers and are in the correct location. I am thinking of going to 5 or 6 blade props, preferably 6 blade. Any input or recommendations would be wonderful. Thank you.

Do you know the X dimension of the drives?
I would caution you on 6 blades with a Baja. Too much stern lift.

Ahhh, thank you Brent, do tell. Always good to get an education from those in the know. Another issue this boat has was it at times will just dive to the starboard side kind of like if you had the port side k plane down at speed.

Make sure the geometry of the props is identical. Verify the depth of each prop is the same as well Opposite rotation may help too.
