Does this venue have alot of performance stuff or is it a YACHT-FEST?

Actually it's both. Has a dedicated section for Hi perf on the north side of Bahia Mar, with the balance being every day boats to the mega yacht area. Pretty much something for everyone.

On the east side of AIA across from the Hall of Fame swimming pool, next to the Doubletree Hotel, there is a land based performance show that usually has brokerage hi perf boats and I think this year it's where OSO has their stuff set up.

Be forwarned parking is horrible. Best to take a cab from your hotel if you're staying nearby. My main office is located about 3 miles from the boat show. You're welcome to use our parking lot and cab from there, probably about an $8 fare. We're at 2737 E. Oakland Park Blvd, Fort Laud. this is about 3 blocks west of Shooters and the Intracoastal.

Actually, besides the Show itself, there are alot of Performance Happenings around. I think Active Thunder is having an Open House, Mark McManus always has a great set-up right on A1A, just north of the Bahia Mar. ( We will be there also!)

Coming across Alligator Alley do u have dir. from there to boat show...East bound THANKS

Alligator Alley becomes I-595 on the Fort Lauderdale side. Take that to US#1 North. Proceed to SE 17 Street and turn east towards beach. (there's an Amoco on the NE corner, and a Burger King on the SW corner) You'll cross over the Intracoastal, pass Pier 66 on your left and be on AIA for about 3/4 mile until you're at the show (Bahia Mar). Sometimes, if you're REAL lucky, you can find parking for about $25 at the Bahia Cabana, which is on the south side of Bahia Mar across from the Yankee Clipper Hotel.

Coconuts is now called Forte since the new ownership. OSO will be there or in the row of sportboats where Cig, Sonic, Powerplay, Auto Toy Store are.
