Duc boat goes down on TableRock

Iv'e never seen them with hard tops before, I know DUKW's have a long history of mechanical failures leading to fatal accidents.
As far as the weather goes, that is exactly how Galveston Bay can get when a summer storm front comes over,
Prayers for all the unfortunate victims.

13 dead now, 4 still missing.....
Those things are like school buses pushed with a trolling motor but probably even more top heavy!
The driver/captain had to realize he was in huge trouble while trying to keep that thing going. I suspect a mayday call should have been made before it went over. Once it did capsize it definitely went straight to the bottom like a jon boat with a heavy engine!

This was a pretty strong storm as it skirted the southwest side of KC just west of me, three hours before it hit the lake, where these boats enter and exit the lake ( just south of the dam ) is the largest body of water on the lake pretty much runs due north and south and has the potential to get the roughest, I've had a place there going on 10 years and have never seen swells of that size,
