Need to replace my fuel Sending unit.
Original one was a 2 wire float style, 240-33 ohms. I've been looking around and found a few different styles so I was wondering which style is best, float arm, Reed style, tube in tube, or compatance?
Wema USA makes a Reed and a captance style:
Marine Liquid Level Sensors by WEMA USA, Inc.
Centroid products makes the tube style:
CENTROID PRODUCTS
VDO and others make the standard float style that can be found anywhere.
Thanks

I like the Wema reed style the best. Simple, reliable.
Never tried the capacitance style. Had Centroids for years and the fact that you can adjust them to the gauge was great. If I remember correctly water in the tank really screws them up.
