Does anyone have a the Mefi 5 diacom/rinda software for rent? I would like to trouble shoot some error codes

I have all the fault codes in my head what are the fault codes you are experiencing with MEFI V and how did you retrieve them not using a scan tool ??. You prob have a wakeboard boat here with the Murphy system dash readouts ?? would this be correct ?

Is this an Indmar engine ? or PCM engine or Marine power engine or Barr repower engine installed in an I/O ? If you bought this from Michigan motors and installed in an I/O most of the times you will have issues cause of the ECM cal. Fixed many cause they are clueless totally clueless.

Go to the marine dealer - have them scan and pay for the printed report. Cost is 100 to 225 bucks as per what most dealers charge,

Most techs do not loan or rent out their tools - even in the auto world the same is the norm. Most will never loan out their volt meters / scan tools and so forth.

I'm getting a check engine light which I assume will show me some error codes. the dealer in my area is backed up until further notice. I'd like to take a crack at the software and see if I can do it on my own. If so then I can maybe justify paying the Diacom rate. I just don't like being held hostage to the dealers availability.

check engine lite as in a CATALYST ENGINE or the check lite for transmission TEMP - with that said extremely hard to help or even think how to help when ONE DOES NOT KNOW WHAT ON EARTH YOU HAVE here ? So if you want help you need to help others with all detailed indepth info provided -

Next if a boat - what type of boat ? what year ? what engine - serial number of the engine, is this a stock app and the engine is totally stock ?

How did you pull the fault codes or are you just saying the check engine lite is on and thinking you have fault codes ?

I appreciate your help but I'm not looking for help on troubleshooting, my ad is asking if anyone has the software which I could rent. I want to try this software to see if it'll help me understand whats going on for my own knowledge and justify a purchase of it.

I have a Mefi5 in my boat. I'd like to see what the ECM is sending out and what sensors are displaying info. Get a feel for this software and it's ability. I'd prefer to rent before buying.
