Not a fan of Formula's approach to entering the OB market. I like the lines of the traditional 400SS way better. I wish they would have used the 350-400 hulls to enter the CC market several years ago.

There is one at Grove Harbor Marina also if anyone wanted to see it in person. And I am pretty sure it is a different one than in the photos I don't recall those blue accents on the motors

I suspect price will be the biggest obstacle to production (from Formula's website):
With Mercury® Quad Verado® 350 w/Joystick Piloting
$983,120.

I selected a 9K color option and the motors and this was the price it spit out.......(Hint: lots of missing options in between).

I always thought the 400s with diesels were the better choice. They sold tons of 400s with 496s or 525s and B3s at LOTO over the years. They are known to be in for broken drives periodically, sometimes frequently. It will be interesting to see how the lowers on the 350s and 400s hold up on them, but spreading the load across 4 engines ought to help that out.

Sorry, not a big fan of the new style. LIked the 400 SSS with diesels and Arnesons.

The 400SS is their best looking boat. They never came with arnesons, but rather the Volvo drives or Merc Bravo 3's.

HAHA Rik, you got me!

I know there are Arneson drives on Formulas but were they built at the factory in Indiana that way from day one?
