42 Legacy Owners

Would someone with a 42 Legacy, measure the depth of the steps for me. I have a trailer that was set up for a Legacy and I am converting it for a straight bottom boat. I need to know how much to remove from each of the stepped bunks. Thanks in advance!

Might I suggest just lowering the back step bunks to be level with the front bunks ? Go from there ? Or just make all the bunks level ? What boat are you getting ! What length ?
